Children's Ministry

That Every Child Knows Christ

Our Children’s Ministry mission is that every child comes to know Christ and grow in their relationship with Him.

From birth to 5th grade, we partner with parents to teach children these fundamental truths:

 Jesus loves me.

God’s word is true and directs my path.

 I belong here.

I have an important part in Jesus’ work.

 Church is fun and safe.

We exist to shepherd both kids and families by teaching God’s Word in a welcoming and fun environment, seeking both to challenge and encourage kids to live faithfully, and to be confident Christian leaders wherever the Lord may lead them.

Sunday Mornings

At Trinity we believe prioritizing Sunday worship is vital for families because it fosters spiritual growth, strengthens family bonds, and helps children build a lasting faith foundation. Research from Barna Group shows that consistent church attendance during childhood is one of the strongest predictors of a resilient adult faith. Establishing Sunday worship as part of a family’s weekly rhythm helps your family grow together in faith, character, and purpose. We hope you can join us!

Nursery: A Place for Our Smallest Members

Our CPR/First Aid certified caregivers provide a safe, loving environment where children (ages 2 months–preschool) can play and learn about God. The nursery welcomes children on Sundays (8:45 AM–12:15 PM), Wednesdays (5:30–7:30 PM), and during special events. For childcare availability at specific events, contact Katie Clark (email linked).

Sunday School

  • Infants & Toddlers: Early Christian Awareness - Babies who can sit up to 2 years old will learn of God as our creator and his love for us through song.
  • Preschoolers: A fun-filled morning full of learning about Jesus through developmentally appropriate methods such as movement activities, music, crafts, and even drama.  We use the Simply Loved curriculum by Group publishing to discover a friendship with Jesus through bible stories.
  • Elementary: Kinder through 5th graders will journey chronologically through the Bible using “Simply Loved” by Group Publishing to discover a friendship with Jesus throughout God’s Story.  Each grade meets separately and lessons are tailored for their age level to engage children’s curiosity and encourage conversation that extends at home.
Wednesday Nights

On Wednesday nights during the school year, we meet from 6:00–7:00 PM for small groups focused on learning God’s Word and building community. Each week, children enjoy 30 minutes of gym play followed by 30 minutes of Bible study and discussion with their peers.  Childcare is provided for all children from 5:45pm-7:30pm on Wednesday nights during the school year.

Baptism

Baptism is an outward and visible sign of the grace of Jesus Christ through which grace become and participate in the Kingdom of God. In the Methodist tradition, baptism, along with Holy Communion, is one of the two sacraments in which Jesus personally participated. It marks initiation into the Church and unity with all Christians. Since God's covenant of grace is freely given to all, the Church baptizes people of all ages, and the sacrament is received only once in a lifetime.

Upon completing the form below, you will be contacted by a Trinity staff member to schedule your baptism.

What to Expect

When should we arrive? Please arrive 20 minutes early. Our team will greet your family and guide you to your reserved seats.

Can our family join us at the altar? Yes – any family you would like to include is invited to join you at the altar.

Will I receive a copy of the baptism certificate? You will receive a baptism certificate at your baptism. This is a legal document and should be kept in a safe place for later use.

Please contact Katie Clark if you have any questions.
