Created with Purpose, Loved without Limits
Club Nine 3 is a relatively new ministry at Trinity serving children and youth with special needs. The name is rooted in the truth of John 9:3, “’Neither this man nor his parents sinned,’ said Jesus, ‘but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him.’”
Sundays
On Sunday mornings, special needs students in preschool – 5th grade join in with regularly scheduled Children’s Sunday School classes and will have buddies (adult aids) to help them connect with their peers and learn about God’s love. Preschool & Kindergarten drop-off and pick-up is in Room 305. 1st – 5th Grade drop-off is in Room 300 and pick-up is in Room 302 (movie room).
Students with special needs in 6th Grade and above meet in their own Sunday School class to journey chronologically through the Bible with lessons adapted to their abilities and designed to help them understand God’s love and learn to follow Jesus every day. Drop off and pick up in the Youth Area.
At our 11am Contemporary worship service, special needs families may find The Loft space on the second floor of the Trinity Center a particularly helpful space for worshiping alongside the congregation in a way that is also supportive of their child’s needs.
Weekdays
Clubhouse - Mondays from 9-2:00 for members who are no longer in school

Special Events
Other Club Nine 3 special events are offered periodically throughout the year for our special needs friends. In the past, we have offered a Family Beach Volleyball and Cookout Night and a Christmas Cookie Decorating Party during Advent.
Beyond Club Nine 3, Trinity is also a supporter of Buddy Ball, where our Youth and other volunteers serves as buddies during the Fall and Spring sports seasons.
Safety
Each member of our care team goes through background checks, reference checks, and training. Please contact Felicia Dunbar if you have any questions.
