Welcome to Trinity!
We invite you to join us as we Live Deeper in our relationship with Jesus and Reach Wider into the world that He loves.
To L.I.V.E. Deeper, we’ll help connect you to Jesus through a community of believers that will love, encourage and challenge you to grow in your faith through worship, study and service.
To Reach Wider, we’ll help connect you through service to those around us that need to experience the love of Jesus in real and tangible ways.
Our Beliefs & Mission
Methodists share a common heritage with all Christians. Our core beliefs are best articulated in The Apostles Creed and the Nicene Creed.
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His Only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; on the third day, He rose from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from there He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
In short, we believe that our relationship with Christ compels us into connection with our neighbors and fosters a deep need to make Christ known locally and to the ends of the earth.
Our goal then is to connect people to Jesus through a community of believers that will love them, encourage them and challenge them to grow deeper in their faith.
Around Trinity you might hear talk of what it means to L.I.V.E. as an authentic follower of Jesus, which means growing in His Word, loving others well, speaking His truth boldly, and walking closely with Him each day. All of our events and programming are intentionally designed to provide one, if not more, ways to achieve the following:
- L – Learn & Apply the Word, allowing Scripture to form and transform us.
- I – Invest in Others, building relationships that encourage, challenge, and grow faith in our community.
- V – Voice the Gospel, boldly and compassionately sharing the hope of Christ in word and action.
- E – Engage with God, deepening our walk with Him through prayer, worship, wonder, and daily dependence.
Additionally, we share many basic affirmations common in Christian communities, as recorded in Church history. Click below to read more about those.
